The 153rd Open Championship gets under way this morning at magical Royal Portrush on Northern Ireland's Causeway Coast.

Julien Guerrier, pictured on the 1st tee in Wednesday's practice round, has a tee time at 0803 in what will be his first major championship as a professional. The Frenchman who registered his maiden DP World Tour win last autumn won The Amateur Championship in 2006 earning a spot in the 135th Open Championship at Royal Liverpool so this week marks his much-awaited return, 19 years on.

Guerrier's appearance is also special to JDL Sports as the first Open appearance and only second major championship appearance for one of its players.

Also in action this week is Michelle Forsland at the Islantilla Open in Huelva, Spain, on the LET Access Series. The Norwegian from Oppegård Golfklubb tees off at 1410 local time on Thursday.
