The final stop on the LET's early-season long-haul swing is at the picturesque Erinvale Golf Club in the Cape winelands for this week's Investec SA Women's Open.
Kajsa Arwefjäll (pictured) has shown excellent form at the start of her rookie campaign with three Top-10 finishes in her four starts so far, most recently a career-best tying share of 4th place at last week's Joburg Ladies Open. The 24-year-old from Tranås, Sweden, heads to the Cape with high hopes of contending for the prestigious title and further cementing her status as one of golf's brightest young stars. Her first round got under way from the 10th tee early on Thursday morning.
England's Billie-Jo Smith is also in action at the Investec SA Women's Open. The 25-year-old rookie who finished 3rd on the 2024 LET Access Series to earn her spot on the main Ladies' European Tour, is looking to turn her hard work into results and get her season kick-started before the LET returns to Europe next month. Smith is among Thursday's late starters, teeing off from the 1st at 1329 local time.
The next two 54-hole events on the Nordic Golf League are at the Sand Valley Resort in Poland. The Sand Valley Championship gets started on Sunday and is closely followed by the ECCO Tour Sand Valley Masters next Thursday through Saturday.
Jarand Arnøy showed some course form at Sand Valley a year ago with 16th and 13th place finishes and will be looking to build on his solid display at the Infinitum Series in Spain last month. The 28-year-old Norwegian is a multiple winner on the Nordic League and is more than capable of graduating to the next level.
